I know I say this after every shoot, but hands-down this was the most fun I’ve ever had with a camera in my hands. Keating and Daniel are my very good friends, and they recently got married in Keating’s hometown. It was a very small, intimate wedding, and while they have incredible photos of that evening, they didn’t have much time for bridal portraits of just the two of them. When they asked me to do bridal portraits back here in Princeton, I was beyond excited – and in their wedding attire! On campus, where they met and where Daniel proposed! Does it get more romantic?! Can I use more exclamation points?! Probably not! With picnic basket and friend/assistant Julia in tow, we walked all around campus, stopping every few feet for another photo. Of course a gorgeous bride and groom walking through a very crowded college campus on a perfectly gorgeous fall day was going to draw some attention – and sure enough we got some fun “Congratulations!” and “Look, it’s a bride!” as we continued our shoot. As far as creating these images – I had my work cut out for me taking photos of a newly-wed, madly in-love couple. As if the shoot itself wasn’t enough fun, we had a picnic basket full of goodies (packed by the bride herself) to enjoy on a blanket on the lawn after our shoot. Ham biscuits and champagne – the perfect ending to any shoot! Congratulations to Keating and Daniel – thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of this special day with you, and I wish you a life filled with love and and happiness!
